A number of recent studies point to a significant impact of socio-economic crises and related cuts in social expenditure on mental health, and highlight significant repercussions of the recent financial and economic crisis for social security.

ISSA Good Practice Award for Asia and the Pacific

The identification and sharing of good practices helps social security organizations and institutions to improve their operational and administrative efficiency. The ISSA Good Practice Award competition for Asia and the Pacific is now open. ISSA members in the region can enter one or more good practices for consideration up to 30 June 2012.

Regional Social Security Forum for Africa
